There’s a quote on this tag that said there was no female on the meeting of the commanders. I actually noticed a female who was seated two to three seats from Admiral Marcus. She was a blonde with a braided updo. She was seated closer to Admiral Marcus that Pike and Kirk so I assume that she was higher ranked than they were.
Just wanted to point that out.

"In the scene where Kirk gets his ship back and the admiral is having a meeting with “important” people around a table later, I failed to see ONE WOMAN AROUND THAT TABLE, ALL MOSTLY WHITE MEN IMPLIED TO BE MAKING IMPORTANT DECISIONS TOGETHER. Yes, these are just scenes with extras, but seriously, in the future not one woman over 40 is in charge in this world?! How can that happen?"

Actually, I did notice one woman who was actually sitting two or three down from Admiral Marcus, closer than Pike or Kirk. And she failed to remember that Spock was assigned to an African American captain who was also present at that meeting. They pointedly introduced him to Spock before he walked into the meeting.
She was blonde with hair braided in an updo.
And I’m pretty sure I remember female screams when the villain attacked.
Trust me, I notice these things.
